Have you ever listened to Earl Nightingale who is one of the great early Personal Development Gurus from the 1950’s?
If you haven’t then you’re in for a treat. If you have then listening again, helps to reinforce your understanding of these great life principles! It’s definitely worth 30 minutes of your time to listen and learn!
In yesterday’s blog post, I talked about setting goals and creating your life rather than letting life create you https://brilliancewithin.com/2017/09/08/is-it-too-late-to-achieve-happiness/
You probably know how much I believe in the Universe delivering the messages that we need to hear – I definitely think I was meant to come across this talk from Earl Nightingale today, to be able to share it with you.
It completely re-enforces the suggestions I’ve included in several of my recent posts on changing habits and how to pro-actively create our life rather letting life create us. Life is much simpler when we follow some practical core principles!
I would urge you to take 30 minutes to listen to this Earl Nightingale YouTube clip and listen to it regularly. It really does include the nuggets of gold to help you transform your life!
If you’re interested in receiving some of the tools and tips that will really help you take the daily actions suggested by Earl and enable you to start pro-actively creating the life you want to live, sign up by adding your name and email in the sign up box and I’ll send you the new weekly step by step guide to change, which when followed really can help you to transform your life.
Earl gives a great description of SUCCESS as:
“The progressive realisation of a worthy ideal”
Being deliberate about our daily actions and sustaining those actions every day, to do something deliberately rather than just falling into something without any pro-active thought, which is directly aligned to the new Brilliance Within 90 Day Habit Changing Challenge.
It’s not too late to join the Brilliance Within 90 Day Habit Changing Challenge!

Wisdom through the ages. Just wonderful Wendy. I’ve just finished listening to him talk and everything is so incredibly relevant. Thank you for posting this. So glad I’m taking part in your change a habit challenge, everything feels so aligned right now and I can’t thank you enough for being the catalyst. Big hugs my friend xo

This really is wisdom that stands the test of time isn’t it Miri – spoken years ago and still very relevant to us both today! I could just listen to him talk all day along with some of the other older ‘gurus’ like Bob Proctor.. When you feel that the universe is aligning things in your life, it’s an amazing feeling! I’m delighted for you Miri.. Big hugs returned with love xxx
How coincidental, I just read his book over the weekend! It appears the universe truly does work in mysterious ways! This is fabulous post and a great reminder. Thank you Wendy.

It really does.. we get a message and then the universe reinforces that this is the message we’re meant to listen to.. I think this is definitely the case for us both on this one! xx
Hi Wendy,
I just want to say how cool I think it is that you’re stepping out like this. Way to serve people, Wendy! <3 You are wonderful. Take good care of yourself, and so many blessings. <3 Love, Debbie

Thanks so much Debbie – I really appreciate your loveliness in my life!! xx
I find it fascinating listening to Earl Nightingale’s wisdom spoken before I was even born. And it is wisdom. And it is so current and relevant. And it was a real treat – thank you Wendy! Xx

I couldn’t agree more Osyth.. such wisdom that still applies to modern life and definitely stands the test of time because it really gets to fundamental truths about life and human nature. The problem is once I start listening to him, I can’t stop… day gone!! I’m really glad you enjoyed the clip! x
Wendy, I am so sorry that your comment was deleted by accident! I guess I was too happy to see you back. I was going to ask you how are you and how is your friend and her little boy. Did not know what had happened everything was gone…….Please forgive me for my careless.
Everything is going fine with me and Peter! Thank you!
I am going to post the revised Everlasting Blossoms No. 2 one chapter every Monday from now on. Hope you will enjoy it.

I’m sorry too Myra that I’ve been ‘out of touch’ recently. My husband’s (Bryan) mum died this summespent a few weeks with her before she passed away.. I’ve tried to keep posting on my blog but have struggled to catch up with reading. Things have settled down now so I’m getting back on track. Kirsty is still in residential rehabilitation – progress is very slow but every small step forward is better than no step at all.. bless her! Her husband has been amazing and her little boy is doing well, with support from family – not the life he would have had but thankfully he was only young which is a blessing because he’s slipped into his new routine more easily. Well I’m delighted that you’re doing well Myra and I look forward to reading future chapters.. Fabulous! Sending love and a big hug xx
Thank you! Wendy. I am very happy to hear the good news about Kirsty! Glad to know you are doing well! I’m going to get a pair of hearing aid pretty soon(which I never need before!) :)) Good thing is when talking with friends on the blog, I don’t need to plug them in my ears!
So happy to know that you and Kirsty are doing well!
I’ll have a pair of hearing aid soon which I never needed before. My doctor said, “That’s the progress!”
I think,
I’ll be glad that I don’t need to plug them in when I talking with friends on the blog!!!
