If You Can You Should!

You can choose to be remarkable by increasing your confidence

As many of you will know already, I attended Andy Harrington’s Power To Achieve Event in February 2017. It proved to be the inspiration I needed to break through some old blocks that had been holding me fixed in a very uncomfortable place for way too long.

If you have any concerns that you are not living your life to the full or that you are stuck in a ‘bad place’ or even just a ‘mediocre place’ in your life, I can honestly recommend that you attend Andy’s next Power To Achieve Event in June at the Excel in London. If you can attend this life transforming weekend, you really should!

Power To Achieve

Have you ever felt you were living a lie?

I’d worked hard for many years to become a Senior Manager in business, working regularly 80-90 hours per week and being paid to work 35 hours… yep – as a manager, you don’t get paid overtime and I’m sure there are many people who recognise within themselves, that pattern of working harder and harder and longer and longer hours… spending less and less quality time with our families. When my family worried about my deteriorating health, I insisted.. “I HAVE TO.. I DON’T HAVE A CHOICE”….

Attending Andy Harrington’s Power To Achieve weekend, helped me to recognise that I do have a choice. We all have a choice. Whatever our circumstances and whatever our issues are, we always have a choice to do something different.

We may not feel like we have a choice, but the reality is that nothing is fixed, we don’t have to stay in any situation that is making us stressed or ill. For me, working long hours over a long period of time, resulted in me neglecting my health and as a result, as some of you will have read in previous posts, I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in March 2015, which was a lightbulb moment for me and I worked hard over the following months to change my lifestyle and my diet. I was successfully in losing 2 stone in weight and as a result, putting my diabetes into remission.

Although this was a fabulous achievement, I still couldn’t shake off that debilitating feeling that I was powerless to make the BIG change, in relation to my working life, that deep down I knew I needed to make. I held on, even though in doing so, I was harming myself. I FEARED letting go, even though I knew all the ‘theory’, having helped others overcome their own fears in my ‘other’ role as a hypnotherapist, I just couldn’t seem to put it into practice for myself.

Many of us hold onto jobs, relationships, excess weight etc. when we know that these are harmful to us and yet we can’t ‘let go’.

Are you holding onto something that you know deep inside you should let go and yet you ‘fear’ doing so.

There are also those of us who live a ‘good’ life, with no major issues to disturb us and yet somewhere in our heart, we feel there is ‘more to life’.

As Andy Harrington would say, “the enemy of the great is the good”… we often settle for ‘ok’ when it is less than we could achieve or experience in our lives, if we pushed ourselves that little bit more.

Are you settling for ‘good’ when your life could be ‘amazing’?

In February 2017, I attended Andy Harrington’s Power To Achieve Event in London. Wow – that man puts his all into this event. The days were long and yet they flew by and at the end of each day, Andy had helped many of us to break through some of our barriers. I broke the wooden board with my hand and bent the metal bar with my throat and in doing so, I recognised that I was allowing myself to settle for ‘good’ in my life and letting ‘FEAR’ hold me back.

When I returned home from this powerful event, I took the leap of faith that I knew I had to make. I handed in my notice and am now starting out on a new path in my life journey.

I’m not saying everybody should ‘hand in their notice’ but if you feel that there is ‘something more to life’ than the way you are currently living it then attending Andy Harrington’s event, may just be the action you need to take to help you identify what you can do, what choices and changes you can make that may be just what you need to do, to start living an AMAZING LIFE…..

Sounds wonderful Wendy and I know what a difference attending his workshops made to your life. I’m so happy for you. If I was in London, and if he ever cones to Melbourne, I’ve no doubt that I would find my way there. Here’s to facing our fears and doing it anyway. Thanks for the inspiration as always. Now it’s off to work with me. Big hugs xo
