Law of Attraction: Part 3 Expressing Gratitude

inner-confidence

In Michael Losier’s Book ‘Law of Attraction.. The Secret Behind The Secret’, he reminds us that:

… The Law of Attraction does not care whether you are remembering, pretending, celebrating, playing, creating, complaining or worrying. It simply responds to what’s in your Vibrational Bubble. So, find proof, rejoice and send out a positive vibration….

Now if you’re taking the Law of Attraction seriously, you absolutely need to remind yourself daily about the good things that have happened and remember…

What you focus on is what you get! If you’re focussing on ‘negative things’ that have happened, then it is likely that you will notice even more negative things happening. Conversely, if you focus on some positive things that have happened during the day then you are sending out a positive vibration and you will notice even more positive things happening!

The Law of Attraction, like your subconscious mind, doesn’t know the difference between imagination and reality therefore it’s sometimes necessary to ‘fake it until you make it’… Tell the ‘negative committee in your head to sit down and shut the fu** up!’ and then set your mind on an imaginary journey of amazing things. Remind yourself of beautiful things and places that you’ve come across in the past, even if they aren’t in your life right now.

There is always something that we can be grateful for… When I had my recent DIY Kitchen disaster, being without running water and having no cooker for several weeks, made me realise how much we really do have to be grateful for here in the Western World.. Many millions of people still have to walk miles for water – I only had to run up one set of stairs! Yes.. if you have a tap with running water, you are lucky beyond the imagination of many people.

So – even when things aren’t going ‘brilliantly’ for you, it’s important to raise your ‘vibrational bubble’ by using your imagination and reminding yourself of the ‘basic things’ in your life like running water, lights at the flick of a switch and a cooker to cook the food that you can simply buy in a local shop… How lucky we really are and yet we often forget to appreciate those basic luxuries and take them for granted….

Make it your mission to start and end each day with positive thoughts about the great things in your life, no matter how ‘basic’ those things are.. Tell yourself what you are grateful for and if possible try and take time to write them down – even just a couple of bullet points will raise the vibration… You need to ‘feel’ the appreciation and gratitude within you..

There are some great ‘Daily Gratitude’ Bloggers and one of my favourites is Deb’s Once in a Hot Flash blog – definitely worth checking out the posts and the comments if you’re short of things to feel grateful for – you’ll be inspired and it will ‘raise your vibration’! http://onceuponahotflash.wordpress.com/

A new blogger I’ve come across recently also has some great LOA posts on her blog and they are definitely worth checking out for some inspiration. https://believereceiveachieveblog.wordpress.com/2017/03/22/ero/comment-page-1/#comment-36

I’m leaving you with this Youtube video by Rhonda Byrne… The Magic Practice… which describes the Law of Attraction. Rhonda was involved in the original film The Secret too..

I agree with everything you say, Wendy! It is easy to be pessimistic and cynical. But staying positive and being optimist needs courage and faith. I always try to do the latter too😊XX

What I love about this series is that finally someone (you) talks about a concept I’ve been aware of for a long time but in an approachable and accessible voice. And as a result, at exactly the right time in my life, I am practicing the Law of Attraction. I’ve always been a very bouncy positive person with a dark flipside. Now I am banning that side consciously – reflecting on my vision board, writing in my rather gorgeous array of notebooks and catching My dreamclouds. My husband LOVES you … He actually does because although I’m draining the bank account I’m finding the me he fell in love with and that makes us both super happy. Thank you Wendy…. keep doing what you do – you absolutely ROCK at it xx

Well Osyth This is the most precious comment. I am going to print this out and add it into my vision board to remind me that it is possible to touch people’s lives. I am genuinely touched deeply by your comment and it is just what I needed to hear to give me the confidence to continue my journey too. Hey… we all have the dark side.. it’s our ying and yang… For me to know that this is helping you to uncover you inner brilliance once again has made my day xxxxx πŸ˜™πŸ˜šπŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—xxx

I am grateful to have a roof over my head. <3 I am grateful for my pajamas. I am grateful to have a blog and be able to read blogs like yours. Thank you, Wendy for this reminder. My spiritual mentor John-Roger has a beautiful teaching on how if we look for the good and leave the rest to Spirit, we'll start having peace. πŸ™‚ Many blessings to you, Wendy! Debbie
