I wish you a Magical 2017!

I wish you a Magical 2017!

Now is a great time to think about New Beginnings for 2017. As many of you will know, 2016 threw me and my family some pretty big ‘lemons’ and there has been a lot of ‘negativity’ around the World too. Although the future for many of us is still a ‘mystery’, I’m looking forward now to closing the door on the past, living in the now so that I enjoy each precious moment!

The start of a new year is also a great time to review your ‘Vision for Life’.. I’ll be spending some time over the Xmas break to refresh my Vision Board and I hope you do too.. It’s a lovely way to spend some ‘positive’ relaxation time! How to Create a Dream Vision Board

Often we think our ‘destination’ is so far away that it’s not worth taking the first step toward it. I love the saying ” A Journey of a Thousand Miles Begins With a Single Step”.. I’m definitely going to take a new path this year…. one step at a time!

If you feel ‘blocked’ and unable to move forward, it’s time to clear some negative energy to enable the positive to enter your life…

I’ve added some links (scroll down) to some of my older posts which you may find helpful in making your plans to reveal your ‘BRILLIANCE WITHIN’ in 2017!

Hi Wendy I have a dream vision board too, full of quotes, photographs and posters. When I get up the first thing I want to see is this. And next to my clock is all my dream food photographs??. Will send you the picture??. Stick with us Wendy, we are diamonds?

    Hello again Manchester!
I love Kim’s suggestion about the happy memory jar! I am starting mine today. I will also try to follow your positive inspirational thoughts throughout the months. Do you know what helps me? I started learning the piano on an old electronic keyboard originally bought way back for my oldest son. I am doing it mostly on my own, with the very occasional help of a teacher friend, but it is so 1) relaxing, even when I am having a hard time deciphering the notes and 2) so rewarding to finally master one exercise at a time!
This also shows that a lot of things are still possible at our age: we are far from being brain-dead yet ?!

Oh absolutely Joelle… we should never stop enriching our lives with new things. I learned to play the piano when I was young but somehow life got in the way and it’s something on my list to start playing again using a keyboard I’ve acquired recently for my granddaughters to practice on.. I also want to learn to play the guitar so that I can use my dad’s old guitar which I think would feel pretty special. You’ve inspired to ‘get started’ and stop just talking about it so thanks Joelle! x

Happy 2017 Wendy! Feels good to start anew again. I hope to Be The Change instead of looking for the change this year… and a few other resolutions have rounded out my ringing in the New Year! Love the messages you have posted. My sister proposed putting ‘one good thing’ that happened to you everyday this year in a jar to be opened at the end of the year. Oh! I should blog that! All the best to you and yours! -Kim

Thanks so much Kim and I really love that philosophy to ‘be the change’… I’m taking that one on board too – thanks! I’m glad you liked my little messages pulled together from previous blogs posted over the last few months and which acted as a reminder for me too! I love your idea of putting one good thing in a jar – how lovely it will be to open and read through that jar.. I may have to copy that idea too – yes go for it – Blog it! Wishing you great success, love, peace and laughter for 2017! x

Oh I absolutely love this Wendy. So many inspiring quotes, so many words to live by and so much hope and positivity as we start this new year. Yes, I’ll be living by these mottos too as we navigate through this year. I haven’t made any hard and fast resolutions because I always break them but a vision board is definitely on the cards for me.
Happy new year to you my friend. May 2016 be a wonderful year for you and bring you all your heart desires. Warmest wishes and big hugs from me xo

Wendy, happy new year happy 2017. This really beautiful and inspiring and well laid out. Loved it. I still havent done a vision board and i had a look at yours is it two a4 cards? I set goals but rarely at new years ..i gave up on new years resolution in my teens..but i have goals all the time. In Jan i am making my inner foundation strong which i posted about last week and created a jan 2017 for anyone wanting to join. Thank you for an inspiring post and needed to read this. Happy 2017. …happy new year. There is benefit in everything is my motto .. speak soon . Regards bella

Hi Bella – so glad you found some inspiration in here and I agree – New Year Resolutions aren’t necessarily the best but I do love having a current vision board as you can add and change it as you go along but it does help provide some focus of things you want in your life.. It’s so enjoyable to create it too! I use A3 Card for mine. I also have an A3 folder to put them in so that I can add and change as I go along. For my Focus Board which is usually smaller, I use a A4 (ish) Scrap book with loose and heavy leaf pages in it.. Go for it Bella – you’ll enjoy it I’m sure!
I’ll go and have a read of your ‘inner foundation’ post.. I must’ve missed that with the Xmas celebrations.. I hope your parcel arrives soon (I forgot it’s probably delayed with the Bank Holiday post).. Much love and a very Happy New Year! x
