Looking round my home and of course my ‘Brilliance Within Hut’ as seen in How to create a sense of vacation at home, it has been difficult to decide which ‘positive message’ I should finish this challenge with. I was thinking of using this one which hangs at the entrance to my bedroom at my home here in Manchester, UK.
but then I procrastinated and thought about using one of these quotes instead, which highlight the importance of appreciating the small things in life….
And then I thought maybe my last post on this 3 day challenge should reflect my beliefs around vision boarding How I created my first Vision Board Magic …..
As you can tell it was always going to be a difficult choice – particularly as I find it difficult to make a decision on anything at the moment!!
However, in the end, finally DECISION MADE after a moment of inspiration….
Having spent a lovely weekend looking after my 2 gorgeous granddaughters while their mum & dad attended a beautiful wedding, I decided on this one which hangs in my kitchen as the most appropriate quote to end my 3 day Quote Challenge and most reflective of my weekend…

Day 3 – final choice!
Hahaha!! You can’t say I’m anything but honest on my blog!
It’s been a weekend of ‘naughty nanny’ treats with a trip to ToysRUs where one of the girlies commented that “mummy never brings us to ToysRUs unless it’s our birthday.. oops! And then of course the obligatory unhealthy eating trip to McDonalds followed by lots of sweets and ice cream!!
I did give them a bowl of fruit so that I wasn’t ‘fibbing’ to mum and dad on their return when I told them they’d had some ‘healthy options’!
Oh yes – we also spent lots of crafty time recycling the cardboard boxes that the toys came in to create a full ‘dolls town’ – you can’t beat a morning of sticking, glueing and decorating cardboard boxes!
Yep – “What happens at Nanna’s definitely needs to stay at Nanna’s!!!!” ………
Thanks again to Lora from https://inspiredlives.co/ for nominating me to complete this 3 day challenge. It’s been fun! Please wend your way over to Lora’s blog if you haven’t already done so!
My final day nominees are last and definitely not least:
One of my favourite bloggers (I hope she doesn’t kill me as I nominated her for another challenge only a few days ago…) https://intheautumnofmylife.wordpress.com/
In hope of encouraging Heather to start writing again.. https://mrscellaneousmom.wordpress.com/
And Intention Land https://intentionland.com/ as this site combines some inspirational messages with some fabulous historic images.
I hope you’ve found a bit of inspiration and a smile in some of the quotes from the last 3 days and I look forward to finding more inspiration myself from reading some new quotes from some of my nominees who may decide to take up the challenge (or not and I completely understand why this may be so please don’t feel you need to apologise if you haven’t got the time or don’t fancy this particular challenge..)
Having deliberated over the selection of ‘positive quotes’ around my home (I’ve only included a small selection – I haven’t included the entrance mat, coasters, and notebooks etc….), I have developed a degree of sympathy with my youngest son who has now ‘banned’ any positive ‘art’ in his new home. Clearly my attempt at ‘subliminal messages’ hasn’t worked! Ah well – I can continue to dream…
Looking at the time of this post (21:25), I think I should have included a quote around ‘time management’! ….
I’d love to receive your feedback on the quotes I’ve chosen – please leave a comment!
Oh, my, I babysat our 3 1/2 year old grandson all this past week and of course we did a movie, lunch at a train restaurant where a train brings your food out, a trip to Bass Pro, lots of games, puzzles and outdoor stuff… Fun was had by all!

Fabulous! It sounds like you’ve had a magical week – that’s what Nanny’s are for – creating lovely memories! I’m sure you will appreciate the final decision for my day 3 quote challenge! I’m very lucky, my family live close by and my granddaughters have at least one night sleepover most weekends so we spend lots of precious times together and they bring lots of laughter into our home! x
Yes, we are very lucky Nanas, aren’t we? I love your final quote, very cute and it sounds like you had a great sleepover with the girls!
