This has to be the perfect challenge for me as my house is full of ‘inspirational quotes’ on wall art, notebooks, ornaments and cards – much to the disgust of my youngest son Mathew, who having moved into his own new home has ‘banned’ all ‘inspiring messages’!! Ah well – maybe he’ll appreciate them one day.
I love them and I’ll include some photo’s of just 3 that I have dotted around my house at the moment.

Day 1 Quote: I bought this recently as a present for my friend who has been part of my life since I was 11 years old and always gives me that hug or occasionally a kick when I need it to help me grow!

hahaa!! – No – she’s more likely to kill me with a 10 mile cycle ride – seriously she did drag me out on a bike and by the time we got near home, my legs could hardly push down on the pedals and I nearly got run over trying to cross the road on the bike cos my legs seized.. hilarious – well she thought so anyway… Hang on – did I say she’s my best friend – do they normally try to KILL you?
LOL..yes friends do make us try things our Mother’s kept us away from.
It’s always fun to hear stories of long time friends and the things they do together.
My friend was here the other day and was shocked I have a blog..I hadn’t told her, she has a way of making me feel like I’m not smart enough to do something on my own. I should have dumped her years ago but, we have done some fun things together because of my ideas..like when I dragged her into running for a city beauty pageant..I won third place, she wasn’t to happy..hahaha.
One thing shes always been go at is being good to my kids. I guess that’s why I keep her around.

Haha that sounds hilarious!! I take it she didn’t come close to winning? Yep I don’t think you can beat an ‘old’ friendship with so much water under the bridge..some good and not so good memories and shared antics from our youth! I am laughing at the thought of dragging her to the beauty pageant😅😅 x
I think my best one was, I was in her wedding and I put my car keys in the flowers I was holding, just in case she decided to run I would be able to take her away in my car..lolol..she didn’t run but she should have!
